THEME: What's next?

From 22-24 June 2017, Sydney Local Health District will showcase the best in cutting-edge research and the latest in innovations across the District, at the fifth annual Sydney Innovation and Research Symposium.

In 2016, over 800 delegates joined us to hear about our robotic surgery program, liver transplant successes and emergency department innovations, as well as a variety of snapshots across health and technology.

The 2017 Symposium will once again bring together clinicians, researchers and service managers over three impressive days at a new venue, Carriageworks in Eveleigh.

In addition to the full-day program of leading health presenters on June 23, the event will include a day focused on research; how to carry it out, how to commercialise it and where it might take health into the future along with the Sydney Research Awards on June 22.

And for the first time, on Saturday 24 June, the inaugural Sydney Robotics Symposium will be hosted alongside an expanded primary health focussed forum in conjunction with the Central and Eastern Sydney PHN.

More updates and registrations information will be provided soon.
