ABOUT

The Sydney Robotics Summit is a  multi-disciplinary and multi-specialty surgical conference. Hosted by the Institute of Academic Surgery at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, the conference is unique within Australia and focuses on key topics from international and local experts in robotic surgery. The aim of the conference is to broaden the registrant’s knowledge and experience of the latest developments in robotic surgery and to provide an opportunity for panel discussions, question and answer sessions, case reviews and specific surgical demonstrations.

First held in 2017, the Summit has hosted over 1000 delegates in the first two years from across a variety of disciplines including  surgical consultants, anaesthetists, nurses, allied health, junior medical officers, researchers and medical students, as well as administration and industry professionals. Programs have included live surgeries, over 70 international and local robotic surgeons and 6 surgical specialties.

The Summit conference has specialty programs for urology, colorectal, upper GI, cardiothoracic, head and neck, ENT, orthopaedics, benign gynaecology and gynae-oncology as well as nursing.

The third Sydney Robotics Summit is confirmed for Saturday 29 June 2019.

We look forward to seeing you in 2019.
